As summer begins, we bring to a close another school year filled with learning, challenges, discoveries and memorable moments that will stay with us for years to come.
Throughout these months, we have shared projects, activities, trips, celebrations and experiences that have contributed to the personal and academic growth of our students, always supported by the involvement of families and the dedication of our entire school team.
Year 5 Primary students have taken part this academic year in Logelan Logale, a large-scale musical project that brings together education, culture, and collaborative work.
Over several months, the children prepared the songs in the classroom and shared this experience with their families in a concert held at the school. As the culmination of the project, they had the opportunity to perform at the Euskalduna Palace alongside students from other schools across Bizkaia.
The school festival once again became one of the most anticipated events of the year, bringing together students and families for a day full of activities, fun and shared experiences.
Throughout the day, participants enjoyed a wide variety of activities for all ages, including the traditional school cross-country race, dance performances, rhythmic gymnastics, judo and skating exhibitions. Workshops, board games, inflatables, the foam party and magic shows also provided entertainment for everyone.
Sometimes, the most meaningful learning comes from approaching realities that are not always visible. With this aim, Year 1 Secondary students have worked on the project “Making the Invisible Visible”, an initiative that invites reflection on complex situations through empathy and social commitment.
As part of the project, students had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the stories behind Maldita Valina and La Sonrisa de Leire, from their founders Zuriñe and Bea.
The critical thinking, creativity and reflective skills of our students have been recognised at the Basque Philosophy Olympiad, a competition that promotes philosophical reflection among students.
