Choosing what to study after the final years of secondary education is an important decision. Learning about the available study options, asking questions and discovering which paths best match their interests can help students approach this stage with greater knowledge and perspective.
Last week, El Regato Ikastetxea welcomed the University of Deusto and Mondragon University for a series of meetings aimed at both students and their families.
Exploring options to make informed decisions
These meetings introduced our school community to a range of university programmes and provided opportunities to ask questions, explore alternatives and learn more about possible academic pathways.
Family involvement is also important in this process, as it helps parents and carers gain a better understanding of the available options and support their children in making a decision that forms part of their educational journey.

Supporting every student's journey
Academic guidance is about more than choosing a degree. It also involves exploring interests, learning about different possibilities and reflecting on each student's preferences and expectations.
At El Regato Ikastetxea, we see this support as an integral part of the educational experience: providing information and opportunities so that students can approach their decisions thoughtfully and progressively.
Because supporting their future also means helping them explore their options and build their own path.
