EXPERIMENTING - PRIMARY
Our educational model promotes comprehensive personal development, combining the learning of disciplinary skills with the development of transversal skills.
We believe that this phase is an essential stage in the building of their identity as a person and, therefore, from the 1st year in primary school, the tutor meets with every student to identify their strengths and the areas that require improvement. Our aim is to teach them to believe in continuous improvement and teach them to achieve this from their childhood.
Learning is based on experimentation, touching, handling, testing… in the child’s mind, it builds the concepts and skills that are essential for this stage of their education.
Therefore, during primary education, we carry out cooperative projects that help students to acquire the skills that are necessary during this phase and motivate them to learn.
The tutor and teaching staff establish a close relationship with the student and the family, with the aim of providing them with academic and also personal guidance.
During the year, we hold three tutorials with families for comprehensive monitoring of each of our students. From the 3rd year of primary school, the students are present and reveal their goals themselves.
Our students have digital platforms (Moodle, Google Site, Classroom) with content created by our teachers.
Each student has their own device to access and produce that content and a lot of other content available online.
We define ourselves as a trilingual school. Therefore, in primary school, our students are taught subjects in English (Music, Art and, naturally, English), subjects in Basque (Gizarte, Ingurumena… and Basque language) and subjects in Spanish.
