PERSONAL AND ACASDEMIC GUIDANCE - ENGAGEMENT WITH FAMILIES
As a school, we think that it is vitally important to monitor each of our students throughout their academic lives and we demonstrate this on a daily basis with the following actions:
PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC GUIDANCE
We not only provide guidance to students on subjects, tests, etc. but also on their personal development: managing their emotions, getting along with their peers, etc.
GROW MODEL – CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
We believe in continuous improvement so, from the age of 5 until the 2nd year of sixth form, we teach our students to establish their own personal and/or academic goals and the actions required to achieve them.
STUDENT-CENTRED TUTORING
Students have to play a part in their own improvement, so our students attend their tutorials with family members from the 3rd year of primary school to explain their achievements and areas that require improvement.
FOCUS ON DIVERSITY
We are all different and we can all have different needs. We adapt our methods to different students through personalised support plans.
CAREER GUIDANCE
At essential levels we provide academic and career guidance to help students to make the best choice and suit their interests.
ENGAGEMENT WITH FAMILIES
We maintain a close relationship with families by holding 3 individual tutorials with each of them and providing close support through messaging platforms and video calls.
COMPETENCY AND VALUE MODEL
We are proud to have our own teaching model that we work on weekly with our students to learn to be people, learn to get along with others, learn to manage our emotions, etc.
