The critical thinking and creativity of the students from El Regato Ikastetxea have once again stood out at the regional level. Several students from the school have been selected as finalists in the Basque Philosophy Olympiad, an educational competition that promotes philosophical reflection, dialogue and argumentation among secondary and high school students.
The final and award ceremony will take place on March 13 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where the winning works will be announced among finalists from schools across the Basque Country.

Philosophical Video:

Philosophical Essay:
- Celia Herrero (2nd Year Baccalaureate)
- Haizea Luengo (2nd Year Baccalaureate)
Philosophical Drawing:
- Alba Ocejo (2nd Year Secondary Education)
The Basque Philosophy Olympiad brings together students from many schools every year with the aim of encouraging critical thinking, reflection and philosophical creativity through different formats such as photography, video, drawing or essays.
For our students, participating in initiatives like this is an opportunity to analyse reality from a philosophical perspective, express their ideas and share them with students from other schools.
