Kitchen-Dining Service

                                                                       

All food provided at the school is made on site at the Centre. We have a building dedicated exclusively to the dining rooms (three) and the kitchen, the latter fully equipped, with more than 300 m2  divided into four areas: production, distribution, storage (cold storage and warehouse) and cleaning.

The facility is constantly updating and renewing itself due to the volume of services provided (over 300,000 menus during the school year). The 99% of students use this service, and we hold the best quality/price offer for the users among the same kind of centres in the Basque Country.

Different diets are prepared daily in our kitchen for students with allergies and/or intolerances which can be consulted inside our Website.  

The menus prepared at the Centre are based on a healthy diet, as recommended by the Basque Government, and they are draft by a dietitian. Those menus are constantly and rigorously controlled by different audits, both internal and external.

The daily menu can be accessed thru the calendar.

Every new school year at the Centre there are briefings for families, guided tours of the kitchen facilities and primary pupils experimental and educational workshops in collaboration with different organizations like Ausolan (dining and cleaning services), Medical Association of Bizkaia, etc.

Schedules Meals:

The Centre has 3 different dining rooms and times:

  • Classrooms for 2 year olds: Families receive daily dietary information about the eating habits of their children.
  • Infant education 3-6 years old: Families receive a monthly report.
  • Primary: Quarterly information on the habits on the table for their children.
  • 2nd Cycle ESO and Bachiller: There is a double daily option in the starter of assorted salads and a second option on certain days.
